The "New Cosmos of Photography" project has its start in the Autumn of 1991, about 150 years since the advent of photography, and the threshold of a new age of possibilities. Since this time, Canon has been carried out this project as a part of our wide support for social and cultural programs, with the aim of creating a milieu that could assist in fostering new photographers who were striving to find new possibilities for photographic expression.
